If a little dreaming is dangerous, the cure for it is not to dream less but to dream more, to dream all the time. Marcel Proust
Most Patient Muse,
I apologize for the delay in response, this week of finishing out life here has been draining. I can finally sit and dedicate my thoughts to you alone. Do not caution yourself- we have surely both spent many hours lecturing ourselves thusly. Living under the rule of caution above all things is what has kept us apart in spirit and I cannot call upon it in these moments of trying to discover you and return to you in this poets way. What are your travel plans exactly? Will you be able to make an excuse to break from your friends? I want to see you for a whole day if we can manage it. And also meet for a drink at least once. Twice would be better but I know my schedule and yours will be full. I would take you to the symphony if time allowed it, but we could do a museum…or a bookstore? I would like knowing that some of your library came from me. -L
Come to me in thunder.
There in seconds and
Gone as noise.
On and on into the night,
Over and over.
